Film producer and actor Pierre-Henri Deleau hails from France. He is the festival’s creator and director. From 1969 until 1998, he was in charge of choosing the Directors’ Fortnight at the Cannes Film Festival. From FIPA’s founding by Michel Mitrani in 1987 until January 2009, he served as its leader. He is the Pessac International Historical Film Festival’s general delegate. He served in the Venice Film Festival juries in 1993 and 2003.

Serge Assier, born on July 1, 1946, in Luberon, France, is a self-taught photographer who has had a varied career path, starting as a shepherd and later becoming a photojournalist for agencies like Gamma and media outlets like The Provencal and VSD. His work often involves collaborations with writers and poets, adding depth to his photographs through handwritten texts that accompany his images. Assier’s photographic journey has led him to create numerous photographic and literary exhibitions, participate in collective exhibitions, and publish several photographic works. His ambition is to leave a trace of his perspective, reflecting a range of human emotions and experiences. Assier’s work is included in both public and private collections, including the National Library of France.
