Larry Cohen wrote, produced, and directed the 1974 science fiction horror movie It’s Alive in the United States. Starring as a couple whose infant child turns out to be a violent mutant are John P. Ryan and Sharon Farrell. James Dixon, William Wellman Jr., Andrew Duggan, Guy Stockwell, Shamus Locke, and Michael Ansara are among the other cast members of the movie. Film composer Bernard Herrmann created the soundtrack, while special effects makeup artist Rick Baker developed and created the infant.
