On October 25, 1917 (O.S.; November 7, N.S.), Bolshevik Red Guards units operating under the Military-Revolutionary Committee started occupying government buildings. The Winter Palace, the Provisional government’s headquarters in Petrograd, the Russian capital at the time, was taken the next day.
This photograph is in good condition, bearing minor signs of age and use. There may be light scratches, slight fading, or minor corner wear, but it retains a strong visual impact and historical value. Additionally, there are pinholes in every corner and small dents present.
