The biggest military confrontation in human history was the Second World War. There were 1.7 billion individuals living in 71 states that participated in it. The belligerents enlisted 110 million people into their army. 40 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the four oceans saw military operations. The Second World War began on June 22, 1941, when Hitlerite Germany launched a cunning military attack on the western regions of the Soviet Union, necessitating immediate action from the Soviet government and unwavering support for the armed forces. As soon as hostilities broke out, the economy had to be completely restructured into a war economy, involving the full mobilization of material and human resources. Despite the Qazaq Great Steppe’s reputation as the Russian Empire’s backward frontier prior to the revolution, the Qazaq SSR (now known as Qazaqstan) made a significant contribution to the triumph over the enemy. Rich in natural resources, Qazaqstan had already developed into an industrial-agrarian republic on the eve of World War II, taking the lead in lead production and the third spot in coal mining within the Union. This was made possible by the USSR’s advanced industrial and economic development. Moscow, assembly factory, assembling chain by women during the war effort.
