In the 1976 American thriller-comedy Silver Streak, a murder occurs during a train ride from Los Angeles to Chicago. Arthur Hiller directed it, and Gene Wilder, Jill Clayburgh, and Richard Pryor are the main actors; other cast members include Patrick McGoohan, Ned Beatty, Clifton James, Ray Walston, Scatman Crothers, and Richard Kiel. Henry Mancini wrote the film score. Wilder and Pryor starred together in this movie for the first time; they would go on to work together in three more movies.
