On October 3, 1919, Jean Lefebvre was born in Valenciennes, Nord, France. Actor Diabolique (1955), Mais où est donc passée la 7ème compagnie (1973), and The Gendarme of Saint-Tropez (1964) are among his best-known works. He was wed to Micheline Grasser, Yori Bertin, and Brigitte Lerebours. In Marrakech, Morocco, on July 9, 2004, he passed away.
