 2,000.00

Following the fall of Nazi Germany, the Soviet Armed Forces staged the 1945 Moscow Victory Parade, also known as the Parade of Victors, with the Color Guard Company representing the First Polish Army. 40,000 Red Army men, 1,850 military vehicles, and other military hardware participated in the longest and greatest military parade ever staged in Moscow’s Red Square. Rainy June 24, 1945, more than a month after May 9, the day Germany submitted to Soviet leadership, the parade lasted little more than two hours. On June 22, 1945, Joseph Stalin issued Order 370 of the Office of the Supreme Commander in Chief, Armed Forces of the USSR, which established the parade.
