Vintage Original B&W Photo, The Boy in the Field in 1970
€ 2,000.00
Gagik Harutyunyan, like many other photographers who began their careers in Soviet Armenia, learned most of their skills via experience. Although Harurtyunian has captured every facet of Armenian life on camera, the Armenian village and its people were without a doubt his favorite subject. Many of these images from the 1970s and 1980s appear bucolic and even overly romantic when viewed in the modern era. The photographer was drawn to the human-environment relationship’s lyrical quality, which highlighted the spiritual aspects of daily existence.
