Famous French actor and screenwriter Jean Carmet (1920–1994) was renowned for his adaptable characters in French cinema. Over 200 films featured him over his illustrious career. His notable creations include a few of these: In 1982, he portrayed Thénardier in “Les Misérables”. A well-liked comedy, “Le Grand Blond avec une chaussure noire” (1972). Following up on the first, “The Return of the Tall Blond Man with One Black Shoe” was published in 1974.
