French singer and composer Frédéric Dial, real name Federico Lecoultre, rose to fame in the 1950s and 1960s. He was mostly a pop performer and over his career put released a number of singles and EPs. In Dial’s style, pop influences from the time were combined with aspects of traditional French chanson. Perhaps the most well-known of his songs is Il Faut Que J’oublie, which was published in 1966.
