Vintage Original B&W Photo, the Zaporizhie Partizans WWII – 1941

Hitler’s rule over the Zaporozhye region will always be remembered as a horrific disaster. The Nazis looted, murdered, and exiled the local populace to Germany for more than two years while making fun of them. The invaders carried out their horrific crimes in every single city and community. The Nazis shot and cruelly tortured 10,916 prisoners of war and 66,745 people in the area during the occupation. Over 157,000 Cossacks were sent to Germany to labor.
