The ZAZ-966 was a compact car produced by the Soviet car manufacturer ZAZ (Zaporizhia Automobile Building Plant) in Ukraine. It was manufactured from 1966 to 1972. The ZAZ-966 was a successor to the ZAZ-965 and was designed to be an affordable and practical vehicle for the masses. The assembly line for the ZAZ-966 would have involved various stages of production, including stamping, welding, painting, assembly of components, and quality control. Workers would have been responsible for different tasks along the assembly line, with each step contributing to the final product. Zaporozhye, a workshop of the automobile factory “kommounar”
