Dimitri was a Swiss clown who was born as Dimitri Jakob Müller on September 18, 1935, in Ascona, and passed away on July 19, 2016 in Borgnone. His true name, after he changed it, was Jakob Dimitri. Dimitri was raised in the canton of Ticino in Ascona. Through his parents, he was introduced to anthroposophy. His mother Maja, née Tschirren, was an artisan, while his father Werner J. Müller was a sculptor, painter, and architect. At the age of seven, he made the decision to follow in the footsteps of Swiss clown Andreff and join Circus Knie. ul>
