Vintage Original Photo, Ukranian Celebration – 1987

Throughout May, events took place in various regions of the city. Bright holiday greetings festooned the capital, and special lighting was installed in the streets. The festival culminated on May 29 at the Republican Stadium (NSC “Olympiyskyi”) with a magnificent display. A vibrant theatrical production depicting the most significant moments in the city’s history was put on by 25,000 participants from the Union republics.
